Fire Department to hold 9/11 ceremony on Friday

CANTON, Ohio —
The City of Canton announced Wednesday that the Canton Fire Department will host a 9/11 commemoration and remembrance ceremony this Friday, September 11th at 9:45 a.m. at Station 1 located at 110 7th Street S.W. in Canton.
Firefighters, police officers, and safety personnel who served or lost their lives during or in the aftermath of the September 11, 2001 attacks upon the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and the crash-landing of hijacked Flight 93 in Pennsylvania will be honored during the ceremony. The victims of the attacks will also be remembered during the event.
