The City of Canton Information Technology Department is dedicated to providing a high level of technical expertise, programming knowledge, and cost-effective solutions to the many city departments responsible for supplying dependable services to Canton residents.
The development staff works with several operating systems, databases, and programming languages to provide analysis, development and maintenance of application software . The technical staff provides computer hardware support (servers, PCs, printers, etc) and administers the City's wide area network, allowing an efficient, safe and secure means of sharing computer information.
