Youth Development

New for Summer 2009, the Canton Area YMCA and the City of Canton Department of Youth Development have partnered to provide a Summer Fun and Enrichment Day Camp program for youth in the City of Canton. They day camp program will offer age appropriate activities which include arts and crafts, recreation, field trips, swimming, scouting, educational enrichment, Character Counts!, cultural awareness, and more.

Who:              Canton City youth and teens, entering grads 1-9
                      Fun Club (Grades 1-6); Club Mid (Grades 7-9)

What:             Summer Day Camp Program

When:            Monday through Friday from 9am-3pm,
                     July 13, 2009 - August 21, 2009

Where:           Edward "Peel" Coleman Community Center

Cost:             $60 for five weeks of camp
                     Fee includes lunch and Day Camp t-shirt
