The Canton Fire Department does not currently provide smoke detectors. Please refer to the Red Cross (330-453-0146) or your local hardware store to obtain a smoke detector. Also, the Fire Department does not provide CO detectors or Extinguishers. Again, please refer to your local hardware store for these items.

No. Burning yard debris is against statewide EPA regulations and you may incur fines for burning debris.
You may obtain a recreational fire permit by calling the Administrative office during normal business hours. You can only burn cut, seasoned, dry firewood per Ordinance.

EMS run reports are HIPAA protected. To obtain a copy of a run report, you must provide a government issued ID, a subpoena, a signed HIPAA release form, executor information, or other identifying information enabling us to release the run report to you. We do not email run reports due to security concerns. You may submit a request in person, or via fax at 330-471-8831. There is no fee for a single copy of a run report.

Free parking is available to visitors diagonally across from our garage doors on 7th St SW.
