Are these the only roads within the City of Canton that will be repaired this construction season?: No. These are the roads that have complete resurfacing planned. Other maintenance work will continue to take place. This includes but is not limited to pothole patching, chip and seal, crack sealing, internal Street Department paving, etc.

1. Can this list change?: Yes. Depending on conditions in the field, funding, bid results, etc. roads may be added or removed.

2. How are roads selected?: The list is compiled by the Engineering Department with the input of multiple other City departments. Factors that are considered include road conditions, amount of traffic, other planned projects in the area (this can either advance or delay a road), and funding source.

3. I know of a road that I believe is worse than roads on the resurfacing list. Why would this happen?: Similar to what is discussed, planned utility work, the funding source, and other roadwork in the area can advance or delay a resurfacing.
